Enjoying Thailand Together: A Romantic Adventure for Two
This itinerary is designed for couples who would like to have an off-the-beaten path Thailand adventure. It is highly recommended for an anniversary celebration or a second honeymoon. With this 2-week Thailand vacation, you will have an immense breadth of opportunities to get closer to Thailand and each other.
From vibrant Bangkok to cultural Chiang Mai in the north, and from the rainforest of Khao Sok National Park to the tropical island of Koh Samui, you will have the opportunity to see amazing temples, learn about Thai culture, experience local life, taste great Thai food, appreciate natural beauty, and walk with elephants.

"If you go to Khao Sok, you have to stay in the jungle. They have these amazing treehouses, safari tents, and floating bungalows that are just pure romance. At night, there’s zero light pollution—just an insane starry sky, crickets, and the sound of water. It’s completely private, no distractions, and the ultimate spot for a couple to just escape and reconnect."

Bangkok Arrival
Your private guide will be waiting for you in the airport arrivals area. A comfortable vehicle (non-smoking) with an experienced driver will transfer you directly to your hotel. Your guide will help you to check in.
City Exploration — Visit Bangkok's Top Attractions
- Explore Bangkok's famous highlights in the morning when it is cooler. The landmarks of Bangkok include Wat Pho, the Grand Palace, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, and the Temple of Dawn .
- Try out Bangkok's different forms of public transport — public taxi boat, long-tail boat, and Thai tuk-tuk. This is a fun excursion that gives you a fantastic insight into the capital as well as the local people.
- Discover the sophisticated flavors of Bangkok's 200-year-old Chinatown district, which brims with rich ethnic traditions and scrumptious cuisine.

Local Markets around Bangkok
- In the early morning, head out to Mahachai Market , the largest seafood market in Thailand.
- Later, take a local 3-wheeled bicycle trip to Bangkok's first train station, where you'll board a train to Maeklong Railway Market . Experience the market from a unique perspective. While others flock to the railway market to watch trains pass, you'll be riding the rails — very slowly traversing the bustling market!
- Next, head to another highlight — Damnoen Saduak Floating Market . Hop on a long-tail boat and cruise through the canals, surrounded by fruit plantations, seasonal produce, flowers, and the homes of local residents.
- After this amazing experience, have a simple-but-interesting lunch, tasting some authentic local dishes.

Bangkok to Chiang Mai
- Get up late, have a leisurely breakfast, then take a private transfer to the airport to fly for about an hour to Chiang Mai. Upon your arrival, your private tour guide and driver will welcome you in the airport and then transfer you to your selected hotel in Chiang Mai.
- Enjoy a free afternoon. You might like to go to a spa or visit a local market.
A Day of Natural Wonders in Doi Inthanon
- Doi Inthanon is the highest mountain and one of the most popular national parks in Thailand. It is famous for its many waterfalls, nature trails, remote villages, picturesque mountain farms, viewpoints, bird-watching opportunities, and cool weather.
- During a day tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the summit, where you might see green-tailed sunbirds.
- You could take a gentle walk through nature on Ang Ka Nature Trail , visit a hill tribe village and a small Hmong market, have a break at Wachiratharn Waterfall , and appreciate the spectacular King and Queen Pagodas .

Chiang Mai Spiritual Tour and a Thai Cooking Experience
- In the morning, visit a local family. Your hostess will welcome you and walk you through her organic vegetable garden to collect the different kinds of herbs and vegetables that will be used in the various Thai foods that you will be preparing.
- You will learn how to make some of the best home-cooked dishes that you can easily cook for each other when you return home. During the class, in addition to cooking, you will also sample dishes from the north, northeast, and central regions of Thailand.
- In the afternoon, head out of Chiang Mai city for about 20 minutes to reach the famous Doi Suthep and visit the revered Wat Phra That temple on the peak of Doi Suthep.
- Later, return to downtown Chiang Mai and visit Wat Chedi Luang, one of the six most important temples in Chiang Mai.

Chiang Mai to Phuket
- Get up late, have a leisurely breakfast, then effortlessly take our private transfer to the airport and catch a flight to Phuket.
- Upon your arrival at Phuket International Airport, your private tour guide and driver will welcome you in the airport and then transfer you to your selected hotel in Surin.
- We specially arrange an overnight stay on Phuket so that you don't need to get up very early to catch a morning flight and connecting transfer to Elephant Hills Camp in Khao Sok National Park.
Phuket to Khao Sok National Park; An Elephant Experience and Canoeing
- In the morning, staff from Elephant Hills will meet you in your hotel lobby, and then transfer you and other guests to Khao Sok National Park. It takes about 3 hours to drive from Phuket to Khao Sok.
- First, enjoy a Thai-style buffet lunch upon your arrival at noon at Elephant Hills' Rainforest Camp.
- After that, take a jungle canoe trip down the Sok River past stunning limestone karst mountains.
- Then meet the elephants and learn more about these magnificent creatures. You will have the opportunity to feed and bathe them.
- Stay overnight in a luxury tent surrounded by the rainforest.

Spectacular Cheow Lan Lake and a Gentle Hike in the Jungle
- After breakfast, explore Cheow Lan Lake on a local long-tail boat . This man-made lake is surrounded by limestone mountains and cliffs covered in a tropical rain forest that rises up from the shore of the lake and disappears into the soaring distance.
- Enjoy a buffet lunch on a floating camp on the lake.
- In the afternoon, go on a leisurely jungle trek . You will have an excellent opportunity to explore the ecology of one of the world's oldest rainforests and to see a great variety of exotic plants and tropical hardwood trees with huge roots, such as orchids, palms, ferns, bamboo, and mosses. Birds, such as the hornbill, live high up above the canopy, gibbons can often be heard calling to their mates, a macaque or a leaf monkey may be swinging through the branches, and beautiful butterflies flutter around.
- Stay overnight in a luxury tent, surrounded by the rainforest.

From the Fabulous Rainforest to Koh Samui
- After breakfast, your guide will invite you to join a guided canoe safari into the little channels and side arms of Cheow Lan Lake. Take one of our kayaks and start scanning the treetop for lazy hornbills or energetic primates. You will find yourself in the heart of the rainforest on a silent adventure — words cannot do this experience justice.
- If the weather permits, lunch will be served in the rainforest. It will be cooked in bamboo, an old tradition of jungle explorers in past centuries.
- Return to Elephant Hills and, after a refreshing shower, take a private transfer to the pier to catch a ferry to your next hotel in Koh Samui.

Koh Samui — Tropical Island Paradise
- You will have three days to spend together at leisure on the beaches of Koh Samui.
Koh Samui Departure
- After breakfast, our driver will transfer you to Koh Samui International Airport, where you will take a flight back home!
