City Exploration and Visit Bangkok's Top Attractions
You will start your trip after breakfast by visiting some landmark sites in Bangkok, including Wat Pho, the Grand Palace, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, and the Temple of Dawn. Experience Bangkok's local transportation — the long-tail boat and a Thai tuk tuk. You will feel what it's like to be a local.
Have lunch at a local Thai restaurant.
Would you like to taste some local Thai food? Chinatown in Bangkok is a nice choice for food lovers. Tasting delicious local food is an important part of traveling and it will make you fonder of the city. Have a delicious food hunting tour with your guide.
Bangkok to Kanchanaburi | Local Markets
You will visit two unique markets in Thailand. After breakfast, you will be driven for about 2 hours from downtown Bangkok to Maeklong Railway Market. You will find the market vendors are all on the railway, which makes it special. A few times a day, the train runs directly through the market. Then, you will continue to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, which is the most popular floating market in Thailand. The market vendors there are all on the river and it will change your perception of a traditional market.
Have lunch in a local Thai restaurant.
The bridge over the River Kwai is located in the center of Kanchanaburi. It was built by prisoners of war during World War II and was supervised by the Japanese. You will take an hour's train ride along the Death Railway on the River Kwai. Pass the original wooden viaduct built by Allied prisoners of war and lament the harm caused by the war.
Have lunch at a local Thai restaurant and return to Bangkok.
Kanchanaburi to Ayutthaya
After breakfast, you will be driven to Ayutthaya. First, you will visit Bang Pa-In Royal Palace. It was built in 1632 by the king of Ayutthaya. After Ayutthaya was captured by neighboring countries, the capital moved south and Bang Pa-In Royal Palace was abandoned for 80 years. From 1881, Rama IV and Rama V successively carried out restoration works and a large-scale expansion, which was completed in 1896.
Historical Ruins and the Buddha Head in the Tree Roots
Take a walk through the ruins in Ayutthaya Historical Park, which was the capital of the ancient Ayutthaya Kingdom. Two typical temples are recommended: Wat Mahathat and Wat Phra Si Sanphet. You will a Buddha head among the tree roots in Wat Mahathat.
In the evening, you will board a traditional teak boat and enjoy a special dinner experience. While enjoying the delicious food, you can watch the charming night view along the way as well as the daily activities of the local people. You can completely relax in this charming ancient town.
Ayutthaya to Khao Yai | An Ancient Temple and Wine Tasting
You will stop at Lopburi on your way to Khao Yai, which is better known as "Monkey City". Phra Prang Sam Yot is the landmark of Lopburi and was built by the Khmer in the 13th century, having a typical Khmer style. On the basis of the original architectural art, local craftsmen have made some changes and created Lopburi's own style.
The reason it was called "Monkey City" is that lots of monkeys walk freely in the city. On the last weekend of November every year, the Monkey Buffet Festival is held there. The locals will prepare a feast of rich fruity food. Hundreds of monkeys are invited to the festival — the scene is strange and spectacular.
PB Valley Estate, the largest vineyard in Khao Yai, has introduced professional guided wine tasting tours to promote the Khao Yai wine region as a new local and international tourist destination in Thailand. Your guide will take you to visit the whole manor on a field trailer and will explain how to grow grapes, how to make wine, and how to taste wine.
A Day Tour to Khao Yai National Park
Khao Yai National Park is a natural park and wildlife reserve in the northeast of Thailand. It is rated as one of the most popular national parks for outdoor travelers in Thailand. It attracts lots of tourists every year. The park is full of lush and humid tropical rain forests, mountain evergreen forests, and wild African grasslands. A variety of creatures live there, including apes, Asian elephants, bats, lizards, sambar deer, and more. In addition, there are many magnificent waterfalls in the mountains, surrounded by green forests and spectacular scenery.
You will be accompanied by your guide on a hiking tour. Enjoy the beautiful natural scenery and discover the footprints of wild animals.
Have lunch in a local restaurant inside the park.
